Megastore Tidy Up Together Post-launch roadmap
Three stores are live. Two more shops, a Workshop editor, and mod support are the stated next jobs.
Megastore: Tidy Up Together launched on 2 September 2026 with three fully playable stores. That was a deliberate cut. Yolo Games Studio originally wanted five shops in the 1.0 folder, then chose to ship Toy Store, Supermarket, and Megastore complete rather than pad two extra maps with recycled shelves. This page records what the studio has actually announced for after launch. It is not a dated calendar. Dates below 2 September are history. Anything without a Steam news post is still a plan.
The live game is a released Steam Windows title with online co-op and solo. Do not read this roadmap as if the title were still unreleased. The three launch stores are in your library now. The updates hub covers what already shipped. Hotfix 1.0.1 is the current live patch.
Why 1.0 stopped at three stores
A 12,000-wishlist news post spelled out the split:
- Toy Store — 3,555 items, 297 shelves.
- Supermarket — 7,934 items, 487 shelves.
- Megastore — 13,380 items, 978 shelves, nine departments, two stories.
The remaining two stores are meant to introduce more distinctive departments instead of remixing the same product-and-shelf combinations. One of those extra stores is planned as a large electronics store. The theme of the other has not been decided. Treat “five stores at launch” copy on old store widgets as leftover marketing, not as missing DLC you already paid for.
Until those maps ship, your 100% target is the three live shops. Use the store checklist, the Megastore walkthrough, and the skill tier list rather than waiting for an electronics aisle that is not in the build.
Level editor and Steam Workshop
A 5,000-wishlist post said the first major update’s foundation is a level editor. It is not in 1.0. The plan is for players to create organisation challenges and share them through Steam Workshop: new maps, layouts, designs, and co-op sessions on community files.
That is a large promise. It is also explicitly post-launch. Do not look for a Workshop tab as a launch-day feature. When the editor lands, this page should gain a dedicated child article. Until then, custom levels are a stated goal, not a hidden menu.
External mod support
The same post mentioned external mod support, similar to the studio’s earlier Megastore Simulator. The goal is to make it easier for modders to add content and, where possible, port compatible Simulator mods into Tidy Up Together. Compatibility is a hope, not a guarantee that every old mod will mount on day one of the editor.
If you came from Simulator expecting a tidy-up conversion of your favourite warehouse layout, wait for the studio to publish a tool path. Discord and Steam discussions on the links hub are the right place to ask, not a random key reseller.
Closed playtests and the delay
Closed playtests ran before launch. Phase 1 filled; limited Phase 2 applications were planned via Discord. Those tests fed animation polish, co-op feel, and skill balance. They are finished history. They do not mean a public test branch is required to see Toy Store.
The original 28 August 2026, 18:00 UTC target slipped while Steam review ran long. The studio apologised, kept polishing, and locked 2 September as the final date. That delay is why some trailers and “launching tomorrow” videos sit a few days off the live stamp. The video on this page is one of those pre-launch recaps, useful for atmosphere, not as a patch list.
What is not on the roadmap (yet)
The studio has not announced:
- In-game promo codes or a redeem box (see codes).
- Local split-screen. Co-op is online.
- Console ports. Minimum specs remain Windows 10 64-bit, listed on system requirements.
- A dated day for the electronics store.
- Separate solo versus partner save slots, even though players have asked.
Player requests that showed up in launch week — more music, stronger autosave, controller left-trigger overlap — belong on Discord and Steam discussions. They are not confirmed roadmap rows. The controls guide documents the bind issue as it exists today.
How to play while you wait
Finish the three live stores. Learn signs in the beginner guide. Split floors with co-op roles if the Megastore atrium is eating evenings. Keep the install on hotfix 1.0.1 so Long Reach and Stack Capacity behave.
When a Steam news post names a fourth store or opens Workshop, that post becomes the new source of truth and this page should be rewritten around it. Until that post exists, the honest roadmap is: three stores live, two more planned with one electronics theme, editor and mods after polish, no codes, no fake dates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is the electronics store in the game now?
No. It is a planned post-launch map. Launch shipped Toy Store, Supermarket, and Megastore only. Track live patches on the updates hub.
Can I build custom levels in 1.0?
No. The level editor and Steam Workshop sharing are announced as a major post-launch update, not as a launch feature.
Will Megastore Simulator mods work?
The studio wants external mod support and hopes to port compatible Simulator mods. That is a goal, not a launch-day guarantee.
Why did some pages say five stores?
Early store copy and old widgets described a five-store plan. The 12,000-wishlist post explained the cut to three complete maps plus two later.
Where do I get official dates?
Steam news and the Discord linked from official links. This wiki is unofficial and will not invent a ship week.
