Electronics Store Sneak Peek + QoL

Yolo Games Studio shipped build 25209106 on 9 September 2026, five days after the Steam launch. This patch gives the first official preview of the planned Electronics Store — one of the two post-launch maps on the roadmap. It also ships quality-of-life improvements based on player reports from the first week.

This page records what is confirmed from the patch notes posted on Steam Community. The Electronics Store shown here is a sneak peek, not a live playable map. It will arrive in a future update.

Electronics Store: what we know

The new store sits between the Toy Store and the Supermarket in scale, targeting around 4,000–5,000 products. That puts it above the Toy Store’s 3,555 items and below the Supermarket’s 7,934. It is not replacing any existing map; it is the first of two post-launch stores still listed on the roadmap.

Product categories confirmed for the Electronics Store:

  • Gaming keyboards and gaming chairs
  • Home appliances
  • Electronics accessories
  • General electronics variety

The store is designed to feel distinct from grocery (Supermarket) and toys (Toy Store), with product types that do not recycle shelf logic from those two maps. The sneak peek shows keyboard bays, chair displays, and appliance sections visible in the environment art.

This is not a patch that unlocks the store for play. It is a first look at what the final product will contain. Treat it as confirmation that the electronics theme is real and moving forward, not as a surprise release.

QoL improvements and fixes

Beyond the sneak peek, this patch continues the opening-week polish cycle:

  • General quality-of-life improvements based on player reports
  • Item interaction and sorting feel refinements
  • Continued performance and stability work

Specific numbers for grab radius, carry speed, or new quality-of-life flags were posted in the Steam news item. Confirm those details in the official patch notes before rebuilding a skill plan around a new value.

This patch does not add:

  • A playable Electronics Store (sneak peek only)
  • New skill tree nodes
  • Changes to Stack Capacity or Long Reach (set correctly in 1.0.1)
  • A fix for looping music or autosave crash reports
  • Promo codes or a redeem box (codes hub)

Relationship to earlier patches

Build 25209106 continues the pattern established in 1.0.1, 1.0.2, and 1.0.3. All earlier fixes remain active:

  • ESC pauses the timer when you are the only player (1.0.1)
  • Stack Capacity is +3, not the launch +6 bug (1.0.1)
  • Long Reach behaves correctly from the first perk (1.0.1)
  • Puzzle Foam V is on the floor for new Toy Store saves (1.0.1)
  • Five-minute auto-save (1.0.2)
  • Lower ground collection speed threshold and improved large product hold poses (1.0.3)

Run this patch on top of the earlier fixes. The updates hub has the full timeline from launch through today’s build.

What this means for the roadmap

The Electronics Store is the first post-launch store to receive an official preview. The roadmap still lists two extra stores total — one confirmed as electronics-themed, one with an undecided theme. A Steam Workshop level editor and external mod support are still planned for a later update.

This patch does not confirm a release date for the Electronics Store. It confirms the theme, the approximate product count (4,000–5,000), and the product categories. When the studio is ready to ship it as a playable map, a Steam news post will be the source of truth.

How to follow development

Official news lands on the Steam Community hub and the studio Discord linked from the links hub. When a patch goes live with a playable Electronics Store, this page should be updated to reflect what shipped, and the roadmap should be revised to mark the store as released.

Until then, the three launch stores remain the playable content. Use Getting Started if you are new, or the store checklist if you are deep in a 978-shelf Megastore run and want a method for the last items.
